Hollywood Star Bruce Willis Unable To Speak, Read & Walk as Health Deteriorates

Hollywood Star Bruce Willis Unable To Speak, Read & Walk as Health Deteriorates – LOS ANGELES, USA – Celebrated American actor Bruce Willis, renowned for his iconic roles in Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, and The Sixth Sense, is reportedly experiencing a rapid decline in health due to the progression of frontotemporal dementia (FTD), according to a report by The Express.
The 70-year-old screen legend is said to have become largely non-verbal and is facing growing motor difficulties, although his family has not publicly confirmed any recent updates regarding his mobility.
Willis’s battle with neurological illness was first made public in March 2022, when his family announced that he would be stepping away from acting following a diagnosis of aphasia—a brain condition that impairs a person’s ability to communicate effectively.
In February 2023, doctors updated the diagnosis to frontotemporal dementia, a more severe and progressive form of the disease.
“As a family, we wanted to update you that our beloved Bruce has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia,” the family shared in an earlier statement. “While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
Despite the difficult journey, Willis is surrounded by a united and supportive family. His wife, Emma Heming Willis, ex-wife Demi Moore, and their children have come together to care for him and raise awareness about his condition.
The family has continued to share occasional updates, expressing both the emotional toll and the commitment to advocating for those living with dementia.
“Bruce has always found joy in life—and has helped everyone he knows do the same,” the family said. “It means the world to see that sense of care and compassion now coming back to him.”
