Highlanders FC Confirms Maphosa’s Exit as Comms Officer

Highlanders Football Club has confirmed the departure of its Communications Officer, Nozibelo Maphosa, who will officially step down from her role on August 1, 2025.

Maphosa joined Highlanders in 2022 and has since led the club’s communications strategy over the past three years. Her tenure saw notable growth in the club’s media engagement and public relations efforts.

Her departure marks the end of a chapter in Highlanders’ media strategy — a role she shaped with dedication and precision.

According to Chronicle, Maphosa played a visible role in strengthening Highlanders’ media visibility and brand voice.

Highlanders described Maphosa as “an integral part of our team” in a statement released by the club, expressing gratitude for her contributions.

“We extend our sincere appreciation for her service and wish her continued success in her future endeavors,” the club added.

Her successor has yet to be announced.
