Harare Wife and Landlord Team Up for Rent Hike Shenanigans

A man of Dzivarasekwa had the shock of his life when he discovered that he had been sharing his bed with a snake which had sold him off to his landlord.

In a matter before a local court, James Luko cried to the court that his wife Musonda had made a deal with the landlord to be milking him of his hard-earned $40usd per month by telling him that rent was $90usd when it was actually $50.

The landlord would then pass on the $40 to wife Musonda.

Asked about the financial state of their home, Luko narrated that his household was heavy in debt just like their country Zimbabwe as his wife engaged in secret borrowings from all manner of vicious Shylocks obviously inspired by the borrowing appetite of the current government.

For her side, wife Musonda said that she was scamming her husband for a noble purpose as she had bought a piece of land and was building a house in Dema

Further, that her husband was too strict with expenditure the Tendai Biti during government if national unity hence her secret borrowings.

Noticing that the marriage had turned into nothing but a casino, Magistrate dissolved it citing the lack of love, honest and trust in their arrangement which was pretending to be a marriage.
