“Happy Wife, Happy Life!” – Sir Wicknell Gifts Jah Prayzah’s Wife a 2025 Land Rover Defender on Musician’s Birthday
In a heartwarming display of appreciation, businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo has gifted Jah Prayzah’s wife, Mai Mukombe, a brand new 2025 Land Rover Defender 3.0 D full spec as a birthday gift to the celebrated Zimbabwean musician.
The gesture was revealed in a Facebook post by Sir Wicknell on July 4, 2025, coinciding with Jah Prayzah’s 38th birthday.
Sir Wicknell expressed his admiration for Jah Prayzah’s musical journey, highlighting his evolution from an entertainer to a soulful artist whose music carries deep spiritual meaning.
He acknowledged Jah Prayzah’s impact on generations, noting how his songs have provided both celebration in times of joy and comfort in sorrow. Sir Wicknell specifically mentioned timeless songs like “Gochi Gochi,” “Tsviriyo,” “Jerusarema,” “Kutonga Kwaro,” “Chiremerera,” and the recent “Ndini Mukudzeyi.”
In his Facebook post, Sir Wicknell emphasized the importance of the women behind successful men, acknowledging Mai Mukombe’s role in supporting Jah Prayzah and nurturing their home.
As a token of gratitude, he gifted her a fully paid-for 2025 Land Rover Defender, ready for collection at Exquisite Car Dealership. He also playfully advised Jah Prayzah to take note that “Happy Wife, Happy Life!”
Jah Prayzah, born Mukudzeyi Mukombe on July 4, 1987, has risen from humble beginnings in Uzumba-Maramba-Pfungwe to become a global symbol of musical excellence.
Known for his signature military regalia, Jah Prayzah, also called “Masoja” (soldier in Shona), leads the band Third Generation and has released numerous hit albums, cementing his place as one of Zimbabwe’s most prolific musicians.
Exquisite Car Dealership, where Mai Mukombe will collect her new vehicle, is a modern car dealership in Harare that houses top-of-the-range vehicles. Businessman Victor Matiyenga launched the dealership with the vision of providing a one-stop shop for car sales and maintenance services.
This act of generosity follows previous instances where Sir Wicknell gifted Jah Prayzah with cars and cash, including a Range Rover Autobiography and US$150,000 after the successful launch of his album “Ndini Mukudzei.”
