A heartfelt message from Natasha Mabaya, a recent graduate who dedicated her degree to her ex-husband has gone viral on Facebook and inspired widespread admiration.

Mabaya’s post has provided a rare glimpse into the couple’s relationship, revealing a remarkable tale of enduring love, support and friendship.

“I would like to dedicate my degree to my ex-husband. He was by no means perfect and I was far from perfect too. Despite our differences, he prioritized my education, ensuring I had everything I needed to complete my courses”, she said.

Her ex-husband continued to support her even after their separation, remaining constant and reliable. “Whenever I needed him, he was always there to lend a helping hand,” Mabaya acknowledged.

She noted that her ex-husband’s actions were a rarity, especially in a society where relationships often turn sour after separation. “After our separation, I saw how cruel men could be, but he continued to lay bricks on the foundations of my education.”

Despite being absent from her graduation ceremony, Mabaya’s ex-husband ensured her safe commute to and from the event. “I am grateful we have preserved six years of friendship, rising above our differences.”
