“God Gave You That Voice — Don’t Use It for Satan”, Enenche Tells Artists

NIGERIA – The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has issued a scathing rebuke to musicians who use their God-given vocal talents to glorify satan or promote immoral themes.
Addressing worshippers during the second service of the church’s Testimonies and Thanksgiving gathering on Sunday, the outspoken preacher declared that such misuse of divine gifts would result in severe judgment.
Dr Enenche, known for his uncompromising sermons on righteousness, questioned why some artistes abandon spiritual purpose and instead channel their music toward messages that, in his words, “sink people into iniquity.”
He emphasized that no one earns their singing ability by merit, stating that the gift of voice is granted by God and must be used to honor Him—not to propagate darkness.
“There’s nothing you have that you were not given. If you have received it, why behave as though you haven’t?” he said, quoting scripture.
The pastor warned that artists who use their influence to endorse sin are leading their listeners astray.
As reported by Gurdian.ng, he asked pointedly, “If you know how to sing, who gave you that voice and how much did you pay for it?”
Enenche’s fiery remarks arrive in the midst of ongoing debate surrounding the impact of secular music on youth and societal values.
He underscored that when artists lend their voices to messages that defy God’s standards, they aren’t just misusing a gift—they’re incurring spiritual consequences.
Calling on creatives to reconsider their influence, the pastor urged them to redirect their craft toward content that uplifts, inspires, and leads others into righteousness.
“You were given that voice to bless souls, not to bind them,” he concluded.
The pastor’s charge is more than a sermon—it’s a soul-searching invitation to artists everywhere to remember the sacred source of their talent.
In a world where influence is currency, Enenche’s warning is clear: the voice you were given was never meant to glorify darkness.
