Four Killed, Two Injured in Harare–Shamva Road Accident
Four Killed, Two Injured in Harare–Shamva Road Accident – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed a fatal road traffic accident that occurred on 1 October 2025 along the Harare–Shamva Road, near Madziwa Mine.
According to police, a Toyota Hilux travelling towards Shamva lost control at the 71-kilometre peg, veered off the road, and overturned several times before landing on its wheels. The vehicle had five passengers on board.

ZRP spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said four people died instantly while two others were injured.
“The bodies of the victims were taken to Shamva Hospital mortuary for post-mortem while the injured were referred to the same institution for treatment,” said Commissioner Nyathi.
