Former HR Executive Caught on Coldplay Kiss Cam Files for Divorce from Husband – Kristin Cabot, the former HR executive and ex-astronomer who made headlines after being caught on a Coldplay concert kiss cam with her then-boss, has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew Cabot, a sixth-generation heir to the Privateer Rum fortune.
The incident, which took place in July, sparked widespread media attention and ultimately led to the resignation of both Cabot and her superior, Andy Byron, from their respective positions.
Less than a month after the now-infamous kiss cam moment, Kristin Cabot filed a divorce petition in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13.

At the time of the incident, Kristin, 52, was still legally married to Andrew Cabot, CEO of the family-run rum company.
Sources close to the couple, however, indicated that the marriage had been strained prior to the public spectacle.
According to Julia Cabot, Andrew’s ex-wife and a 63-year-old yoga teacher, Kristin’s relationship with Byron may not have been the sole cause of the split.
“I texted Andrew right after it happened, and he said: ‘Her life is nothing to do with me,’ and that they were separating,” Julia told The Daily Mail.
Julia, who was married to Andrew Cabot for four years before their 2018 divorce, did not hold back in her assessment of the situation.
“He’s saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money,” she alleged.
Describing her former spouse as a descendant of a traditional “Boston Brahmin” family — a term used to describe elite, old-money New England lineage — Julia said Andrew is unlikely to be emotionally impacted by the public fallout.
“Personally, I don’t think his feelings are hurt. He’s probably embarrassed, if anything… His ego is too big to be affected,” she said.
“He’s not a nice person. Now something not nice happened to him.”
While the current status of Kristin Cabot’s relationship with former boss Andy Byron remains unconfirmed, both have remained out of the public eye since stepping down from their roles following the viral incident.
The divorce marks the third for Andrew Cabot.
Kristin has also been married previously.
The Coldplay kiss cam moment, originally intended as a light-hearted fan engagement during the band’s tour, unintentionally exposed a private entanglement that has since unfolded in public view — culminating in yet another chapter of divorce and discontent among America’s upper crust.
