Double murder mystery unfolds
GWANDA-Police have launched a manhunt for two suspects who allegedly killed a man from Mtandawenhema Village, Guyu by striking him on the chest with a stone, the motive remains unclear.
Delma Nyathi and Welcome Dube have been identified as suspects and are now wanted by the police in connection with this case.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
“Police in Gwanda are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of Delma Nyathi and Welcome Dube who are sought in connection with a murder case on October 24, 2024 at Mtandawenhema Village, Guyu.”
“The suspects allegedly struck victim Mgcini Dube on the chest with a stone though the motives behind the attack remain unclear.”
He added, “The victim died upon admission at a local hospital in Bulawayo. Anyone with information can report to the nearest police station”.
Meanwhile, police in Binga are investigating a case of murder that occurred at Kadika Village, Zambezi area, Saba where 74-year-old Jimu Munga was shot by an unknown suspect on October 23, 2024 for unknown reasons.
