Deadly Mwenezi Bus Crash Claims Lives, Toll Still Unclear

A fatal road accident has rocked Mwenezi after a bus collided with a truck along the Bubi–Rutenga stretch on Friday morning, leaving several passengers dead and others injured.
According to witnesses, the impact was devastating, with the truck occupants dying on the spot while many bus passengers sustained critical injuries.
The exact number of fatalities has not yet been confirmed.

Eyewitnesses described harrowing scenes of chaos and despair, with survivors screaming for help as mangled metal trapped many passengers inside the bus.
They said emergency services took long to arrive, and by the time they did, victims lay scattered along the roadside.
