It has been a shock of life for many after a local report exposed former Chiredzi Town Council Chair for corruption involving illegal possession of land.
It is alleged that the chair identified as Francis Moyo sacked residential stands amounting to 71 while his accomplice councillors awarded themselves with 46 stands each.
According to the statement seen by Afrogazette, reports say;
“Former Chiredzi Town Council chair, Francis Moyo who reportedly looted 71 residential stands from the local authority, according to a damning Gov report just released while 7 of his councillors got 46 free stands each thereby prejudicing council of US$1m.”
