Catholic Nun Dismissed After Exposing Priests Accused of Romantic Involvement with Sisters

Catholic Nun Dismissed After Exposing Priests Accused of Romantic Involvement with Sisters – A Catholic nun in Nigeria, Reverend Sister Kinse Anastasia, has been dismissed from the Church after publicly exposing allegations of s£xual exploitation and @buse involving priests in the Auchi Catholic Diocese of Edo State.

Sister Kinse made the shocking revelations in an open letter titled “We’re Not Your Wives, Stop Using Us as Bedmates,” accusing several priests of coercing nuns into s£xual relationships.

“We are not your wives,” she wrote. “Stop using us as bedmates. Some senior nuns are even complicit, pimping out younger sisters to priests known for misconduct.”

She alleged that one priest attempted to pressure her into s£x after buying c0nd0ms and taking her to lunch.

Instead of investigating her claims, Church authorities reportedly removed her from her convent and terminated her employment at Veritas University.

On 24 September 2025, Sister Kinse announced her dismissal in a Facebook post, stating that her personal belongings had been packed and left outside her room.

“I was given only 100,000 Naira as severance,” she said. “It was humiliating and unjust. But I am a Catholic, and I love my Church.”

Her dismissal has sparked outrage across Nigeria, with many calling for accountability and accusing the Church of silencing a whistleblower.
