Bulawayo Lecturer Tormented by Mysterious Fires

BULAWAYO – A university lecturer from Bulawayo is living a nightmare as mysterious fires repeatedly erupt in his home, destroying belongings and leaving him injured.
Methuseli Moyo, a journalist and lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology, says the unexplained phenomenon began over six weeks ago at his Magwegwe West residence.
The fires have consumed valuable possessions, including formal clothing, important documents and furniture, while leaving Moyo with burn injuries that have no clear cause.
“I feel like l am burning, but people around me cannot see the flames. I shout for them to pour water on me, and afterwards, the burns tell a story of what I have just been through.”
In one alarming incident, $20,000 mysteriously burned inside his wardrobe. Chronicle reports that the flames targeted only the money, leaving the wooden wardrobe and the clothes inside completely undamaged.
The cash, which Moyo had received from the sale of his house, was intended to complete a new home. “The flames were concentrated solely on the money. It’s unbelievable that neither the wardrobe nor the clothes caught fire,” he said.
Moyo says he has sought help from traditional healers and prophets to stop the fires, but none have been able to provide a solution. “I can’t endure this any longer. My life is unbearable and my family is suffering. If I have wronged someone unknowingly, I plead with them to come forward so I can apologize,” he said.
The lecturer is appealing for help from anyone who might assist him in ending this torment. He can be contacted at +263772764664.
