Ballantye Restaurant Thief Jailed

A Harare slay king, Kudakwashe Hove, who had a bizarre brush with the law has been condemned to a 6-month effective jail term upon admission that he duped a restaurant by ordering expensive food using counterfeit payments.

The Zimbabwean socialite was marched to court under arrest on Monday and charged with having ordered takeaway food amounting to $364 500 at a Ballantye Park food outlet.

This was after two separate outings were he chewed $96 300 and $268 200 worth of food respectively.

For the 3rd time, he was unsuccessful leading to his arrest.
