Aunt Kills Nephew, Buries Body In Yard – A woman from Tsakane, South Africa, has been accused of murdering her 16-year-old nephew before allegedly burying his body in her yard in an attempt to conceal the crime.
Neo Mahlangu, from Daveyton in Ekurhuleni, had reportedly been visiting his aunt, Andile Aalivirah Mthembu, when the incident occurred.
Authorities allege that the teenager was assaulted with a stick and later buried at the residence with the assistance of the woman’s 14-year-old son.

Police said the aunt later reported Neo missing in March 2022 before allegedly arranging for people to dig a large hole in the yard under the pretence of installing a JoJo water tank.
The body was later exhumed by police and search-and-rescue teams after suspicions were raised.
Mthembu was subsequently arrested and charged with murder, defeating the ends of justice and perjury, while her teenage son was also implicated in the case.
The incident shocked the local community, with the Gauteng Department of Social Development condemning the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.
