Arsenal Fan Shot Dead by Security Guard Amid Celebrations in Uganda

In a shocking turn of events, a security guard in Kalungu District, Uganda, fatally shot an Arsenal fan during chaotic celebrations at Afric Restaurant.

The incident unfolded as Arsenal fans jubilantly celebrated their team’s 2-0 lead over Manchester United, prompting the restaurant to cut the power. The ensuing protests led to the guard, Richard Okecho, opening fire, killing John Ssenyonga and injuring another fan.

Police are investigating the motive behind this tragic incident.

Less than two months ago, an Arsenal fan, only identified as Onan, allegedly assaulted a Manchester United fan Benjamin Okello leading to his death.

The incident happened at Kyobugombe Trading Centre in Kaharo Sub County, Kabale District in Western Uganda on October 27.
