Amanda Peresu-Moyo Triumphs as Miss Intercontinental Africa

In a stunning display of talent, Zimbabwean model Amanda Peresu-Moyo has been crowned Miss Intercontinental Africa during a pageant held on Friday night at the Sunrise Remal Resort, Egypt.

Amanda finished among the top five contestants, showcasing her country’s spirit and following in the footsteps of Tendai Hunda, who previously won the title in 2015.

After her impressive top eight finish at last year’s Miss Universe Zimbabwe, Amanda shared her joy about this new achievement, saying, “I am both shocked and thrilled. I have brought this home.”

The overall Miss Intercontinental title was awarded to Maria Cepero from Puerto Rico, who excelled among more than 50 competitors.

This victory marks a significant milestone for Puerto Rico, as it is their fourth win in the pageant’s history, with earlier titles won in 1986, 2010, and 2016.

Amanda’s success not only celebrates her individual accomplishment but also enhances Zimbabwe’s reputation on the global pageant stage.
