“A man reaps what he sows”: Unapologetic Ugandan politician stands up for why she took back an ambulance she donated after election loss

A female Ugandan politician Evelyn Anite Kajik, commonly known as Evelyn Anite and also state Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization in the Ugandan Cabinet since 6 June 2016 has caused noise on social media after defending her actions of taking back a donated ambulance after losing an election.

In 2021 after Anite lost the National resistance movement flag bearer elections to Dr Charles Ayume, she withdrew the ambulance she had earlier donated to Koboko Health Center IV.

“Ugandan Politician, Evelyn Anite took back an ambulance she donated to her district, after losing an election in 2021,” X user AfricaFactsZone posted.

She responded;

“@AfricaFactsZone, Thank you for bringing this up. First, it’s true I took back my ambulance & I have no apologies for that. Why did I do it? It’s because they didn’t vote for me. So did you expect me to walkaway with nothing? Galatians 6:7 A man reaps what he sows.”
