A German tourist reported missing in Zimbabwe wildlife park found alive 3 days later

A German tourist who went missing in a national park teeming with wild animals in northern Zimbabwe has been found alive and in “good health” along with his rental car three days later.

A national parks agency spokesperson says the tourist had last been seen buying a drink at the park shop before going for a game drive Saturday afternoon.

The spokesman says the car rental company failed to locate him on its GPS tracking system and authorities deployed a helicopter, vehicles and sniffer dogs to search for him.

There are no immediate details on how deep in the park he had ventured. AP
