19-Year-Old Takes His Life After Father Kicks Him Out for Impregnating a Girl
A 19-year-old from Epworth, Tanyaradzwa Rimau, died by suicide on Wednesday after facing serious family issues related to an unplanned pregnancy.
Tanyaradzwa was found hanging in his parents’ home by his 11-year-old brother around noon.
According to a report by H-metro, the young brother said, “I went to the shops, and when I returned, I found him dead. I reported it to my aunt.”

Their parents were at work when the tragedy occurred. Sources indicate that Tanyaradzwa took his life after his father kicked him out for getting a 17-year-old girl pregnant.
After being thrown out, he moved in with a single mother of two in the Solani area, but he was soon asked to leave there as well. He returned home, only to be rejected again by his father.
His aunt explained, “He came back home knowing our parents were at work, and then he took his own life.”
She mentioned that Tanyaradzwa had started abusing drugs, which impacted his choices.
His father, Trymore Rimau, stated that he expelled Tanyaradzwa due to his behavior, including getting the girl pregnant and disrespecting family values.
“He wasn’t coming home and was living on the streets, causing problems, so I had to kick him out,” said Trymore.
Authorities are investigating the situation further.
