ZRP Receive Global Reports of R@pe & Fraud Allegations Against Prophet Walter Magaya – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed receiving numerous reports of r@pe, fraud, and ass@ult allegedly committed by PHD Ministries founder, Prophet Walter Magaya, from complainants across the globe.

In a statement issued on 8 November 2025, police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the ZRP has opened official communication lines to assist victims in reporting their cases.

These include cellphone number 0776 830 226, National Complaints Desk (0242) 703631, and WhatsApp number 0712 800 197.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police has taken note of several calls from people all over the world on how to report rape, assault and fraud allegations against PHD Ministries’ Walter Magaya,” said Commissioner Nyathi.

“Victims in Zimbabwe, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, or any other country are urged to feel free to report.”

For those based in South Africa, the police advised victims to make formal reports at their nearest police station.

Statements should then be notarized and submitted through the Zimbabwean Embassy for onward transmission to local authorities.

Commissioner Nyathi also warned individuals and groups attempting to interfere with investigations or intimidate witnesses that such actions constitute defeating or obstructing the course of justice.

Meanwhile, the police cautioned social media groups, including COZWA and Crime Watch Zimbabwe, against publishing the personal contact details of police officers or investigators.

“Victims or witnesses are encouraged to use the official contact numbers provided and to immediately report any threats, harassment, or intimidation,” Commissioner Nyathi emphasized.

The investigations are ongoing as the ZRP continues to receive reports from within and outside Zimbabwe.
