ZTN Journalist Appeals for Urgent Financial Assistance for Surgery

Zimbabwe Newspapers Television Network (ZTN) journalist Carol Tsitsi Marufu (37) is appealing for financial assistance from well-wishers as she seeks urgent surgical treatment for a life-threatening neurological condition.
Marufu, who has battled the disorder since childhood, said she requires US$6,000 for a critical operation at Baines Clinic.
The condition, which affects the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, has caused bleeding complications, vision impairment, speech difficulties and mental strain, significantly impacting her daily life.
She urged well-wishers to assist, emphasising the severity of her situation. “I need about US$6,000 to undergo an urgent operation at Baines Clinic. I am appealing to anyone who can help me so that I can be treated.”
According to The Herald, Marufu was diagnosed with this chronic neurological disorder at the age of five, and her condition has progressively worsened over the years.
She expressed gratitude to those willing to support her and urged potential donors to reach out.
