ZRP Uncovers Huge Dagga Stash, Three Arrested

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) yesterday recovered a staggering four-tonne haul of dagga in a raid on a warehouse in Msasa industrial area, sparking widespread concern over the alarming rise in drug abuse.
ZRP spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi revealed that the massive stash of dagga was found without any documentation or explanation from the company or its authorities.
“The company, or authorities at the company, had no paperwork as to why the dagga was being kept at the warehouse and the conditions under which it was being kept,” Nyathi said.
Three suspects are currently in police custody and are set to appear in court on Tuesday, March 11.
The shocking discovery has left citizens reeling, highlighting the urgent need for increased efforts to combat the growing scourge of drug abuse in the country.
