ZRP Responds to Brutal Killings: One Stabbed While Trying to Stop Attack, Another Killed Over Beer

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the arrests of suspects in two murder cases via their official Twitter handle.
Authorities in Harare have arrested a suspect following the fatal stabbing of 30-year-old Jackson Pikisai on April 25, 2025.
Pikisai was killed while trying to stop the attacker from assaulting Asnary Tembo.
The suspect turned on him, fatally stabbing him in the chest.
Meanwhile, in Nyanga, police arrested 41-year-old Enock Dirorimwe for allegedly killing 61-year-old Patrick Nyagwande during a dispute over a promised beer.
Dirorimwe reportedly assaulted Nyagwande after claiming he never received the drink he was promised.
Police have urged citizens to resolve conflicts peacefully and report violent crimes immediately.
Authorities continue their investigations into both cases, with further updates expected as inquiries progress.
