ZRP pleads for help as two Kwekwe men vanish without a trace

KWEKWE – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is issuing a heartfelt plea for information regarding the disappearance of two young men, Aleco Hunyenyiwa and Ishmael Mamvura who vanished under unsettling circumstances in Kwekwe.

Midlands Police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko sheds light on the mysterious disappearances of Hunyenyiwa and Mamvura, revealing dates and circumstances surrounding thier disappearances.

“We appealing for information regarding Aleco Hunyenyiwa a, 27-year-old man from Mukewa Farm in Kwekwe’s Tore area who vanished on January 12,2021 after a dispute at Masaga shops. He was last seen running towards Kwekwe River, dressed in a faded black jeans with a green NIKE logo, a black T-shirt and black tennis shoes with white soles”.

Meanwhile, Ishmael Mamvura (19) of Kwekwe’s Sunny Side suburbs, disappeared on January 9, 2019 after revealing plans to abandon his studies at Tavanevhu Secondary School to pursue artisanal mining. Suspicions arose that he dropped out and joined unknown mining operations elsewhere in the country,” he said.

Inspector Mahoko seeks public help in finding two missing persons.

“Despite extensive efforts, the two missing persons remain unaccounted for.”
