ZRP Disputes Misleading Video, Confirms Calm In Bulawayo
BULAWAYO – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has issued a statement via its official Twitter account, addressing a misleading video circulating on social media through the Zim / Global Eye WhatsApp Channel.
The video inaccurately alleges that demonstrations are taking place in Bulawayo today. However, the ZRP has confirmed that the city is calm with no disruptions reported.
Authorities have reassured residents that law enforcement officers are fully deployed across Bulawayo and the country to ensure peace and order. Citizens are encouraged to resume their daily activities without concern, as the situation nationwide remains stable.
Furthermore, the ZRP has urged the public to trust credible sources for verified information and to avoid sharing unsubstantiated material that could create undue panic.
