ZRP Detective Arrested With Dagga & Broncleer in Bubi after Rejected US$200 Bribe – A Zimbabwe Republic Police detective, identified as Constable Mushava, has been arrested after allegedly being found in possession of large quantities of illegal substances at a roadblock near Bubi River.

Police say Mushava’s vehicle was discovered carrying seven bales of dagga and 12 boxes of Broncleer cough syrup.

He initially claimed the goods were chicken cuts and later attempted to bribe officers with US$200 to avoid arrest.

The bribe was rejected, and a search of the vehicle led to his immediate arrest. Investigations are ongoing.
