Zimbabwean National Arrested as Fake ID & Passport Syndicate Busted in Kempton Park – Kempton Park police, working alongside Gauteng Traffic Wardens, have dismantled an alleged illegal document production ring operating from a residential property.
Authorities said the raid followed a tip-off that led SAPS and the Gauteng Traffic Wardens’ Special Tactical Team (Central Corridor) to a house where fraudulent documents were being manufactured.
During the search, officers discovered a cache of counterfeit items including several Zimbabwean driver’s licences, South African Home Affairs ID application forms, a Zimbabwean passport, blank smart cards, printing equipment, a laptop, ink, and other materials believed to have been used in producing fake passports, IDs, and driver’s licences.
