ZERA Reduces Fuel Prices as New Rates Take Effect – The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, with the new prices taking effect from 19 June 2026 for a period of two weeks.
In a statement, ZERA said diesel and blend fuel prices had been adjusted downward from the rates announced on 1 June 2026.
The authority said diesel 50 will now retail at ZWG53.26 per litre or US$1.99 per litre, while Blend E20 will sell at ZWG53.00 per litre or US$1.98 per litre.
The latest prices represent a decrease from the previous rates of ZWG56.02 (US$2.09) for diesel and ZWG55.85 (US$2.08) for Blend E20, which were effective from 1 June 2026.

“The petroleum prices are effective from 19 June 2026 for a period of two weeks. Government interventions continue to cushion consumers from the impact of global geopolitical developments,” said ZERA.
The regulator advised both consumers and operators that the blending ratio remains at E20.
“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio is at E20. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” the authority said.
ZERA also urged stakeholders to verify fuel price announcements through its official communication platforms.
“Stakeholders are advised that the petroleum price releases by ZERA can be verified on the official ZERA website, Facebook or Twitter handle,” said the authority.
