Woman triggers firestorm by labelling Davido a “Lazy Performer”
A concertgoer’s critical review of Davido’s recent performance in Amsterdam has sparked a backlash from the singer’s fans, with the woman reporting that she has received threatening messages online.
The woman, who is Caucasian, attended Davido’s concert at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and later took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her disappointment with the show. She described the performance as the “most boring 45 minutes” of her life and referred to Davido as a “lazy performer.”
The woman’s tweet quickly went viral, but she soon found herself facing a barrage of threatening messages from Davido’s fans. Fearing for her safety, she reached out to the Dutch police for help.
In a follow-up tweet, the woman stated, “I am scared right now, why am I being threatened in my DM @DutchPolice, my life is in danger.”
