Woman Arrested for Pouring Boiling Oil & Adding Chilli Powder on Husband – Police in Delhi, India, have arrested a woman accused of brutally attacking her husband while he was asleep in their home.
According to local authorities, 28-year-old Dinesh suffered severe burns after his wife, Sadhana, allegedly poured boiling oil on his face and torso before sprinkling chilli powder on his wounds.

The attack took place around 3:15 a.m. on October 2 at their residence in Madangir, where they lived with their six-month-old daughter.
“She threatened to pour more oil if I called for help,” Dinesh told investigators from his hospital bed at Safdarjung Hospital, where he remains in intensive care.
Neighbours said they were awakened by his screams, and the landlord’s family had to force the door open after Sadhana reportedly refused to let anyone in.
Police confirmed that the couple had a history of domestic disputes and that a case of attempted murder has been opened at Ambedkar Nagar Police Station.
“Investigations are ongoing, and appropriate legal action will follow,” a police spokesperson said.
