Winky D Nominated for Best African Dancehall Entertainer at 2026 IRAWMA Awards – Zimbabwean dancehall star Winky D has been nominated at the 43rd edition of the International Reggae & World Music Awards, one of the most prestigious platforms recognising outstanding achievements in reggae, dancehall and world music.
The nominations were officially announced in Kingston ahead of the awards ceremony set for May 17, 2026.
Winky D secured a nomination in the Best African Dancehall Entertainer category, placing him among some of the continent’s leading dancehall performers.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Florida, where a number of legendary and contemporary artistes from the Caribbean, Africa and other regions are expected to gather to celebrate achievements in the genre.
Public voting for the awards is currently open, giving fans an opportunity to support their favourite artistes ahead of the live ceremony in May.
