WATCH| The Best Of Makhadzi’s Tshintsha Magiya Challenge
High-flying South African performer Makhadzi has brought enjoyment to the internet following her viral Tshintsha Magiya Challenge.
On 5 June, the Ghanama hitmaker shared a teaser of the song Tshintsha Magiya via an Instagram reel, asking all dancers to show their skills.
No one imagined that the challenge would open a stream of rich dance videos that would shut down the internet. The challenge became so viral that Makhadzi had to set Friday, 25 June as the day of its release “by public demand”.
She has even decided to add a Shona verse to the yet-to-be-released song, following the participation of Zimbabweans in the challenge.
Here are some of the best videos from Makhadzi’s Tshintsha Magiya Challenge.
The first video to catch Makhadzi’s attention was by Nyasha Natasha from Zimbabwe. What made her video captivating was how she gyrated while handstanding on a stool, her legs spread widely on the wall.
The challenge became a non-Southern African affair as Botswana jumped onto the Tshintsha Magiya Challenge. They were already partying to the unreleased song. Watch them.
Gqeberha’s TikTok star Chad Jones got wind of the challenge. Being one of the dancing authorities on TikTok in South Africa, he invited his mom to show Mzansi and Southern Africa what his family has got.
After watching the trending Tshintsha Magiya videos, @lallymadia could easily take the crown. Without preempting much, check out the “best” video according to most social media pages and groups.
