WATCH| President Emmerson Mnangagwa Buying Groceries In Pick N Pay

The President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa today pulled a stunner as he went grocery shopping.

President Mnangagwa who was in the company of his officials did his grocery shopping at  Pick n Pay, Highlands Park which he officially opened today.

In the video that was shared by Permanent Secretary for Information, Nick Mangwana,  President Emmerson Mnangagwa can be seen buying mealie meal, bread, cooking oil, rice and other basic commodities.

According to Nick Mangwana, the president used his ZimSwitch card to pay for his groceries. He said that the video is set to show that the president is well aware of the price of bread.

The newly opened Highland Park is located at corner ED Mnangagwa and Arcturus Road in Highlands, Harare. The posh building is said to have been constructed in just 12 months

“This building was constructed in just 12 months. In that period, employment has been created during the construction stage and more will be created during the business occupation of the building. Construction shows confidence in the prospects of an economic environment,” Nick Mangwana said.

Meanwhile, today before he officially opened the Highland Park shopping centre, the President visited Mount Meru Millers Zimbabwe in Mahusekwa, Mashonaland East Province.

He officially opened Mount Meru Millers which is a subsidiary of the Multinational Corporation, Mount Meru Group. The company manufactures the Sun Soya Cooking Oil.
