Unqualified Man Arrested for Performing Illegal Penis Enlargement
In a startling case of unauthorized medical practices, a 36-year-old man from Samut Sakhon, Thailand, was arrested after allegedly performing penis enlargement procedures for 20 years without any formal training.
Kittikorn Songsri, who has only a Grade 9 education, was apprehended following a sting operation at a townhouse where he conducted these risky treatments.
Local media reports reveal that Songsri had been promoting his services on social media and claimed to treat two to three patients each month.
His self-taught methods reportedly began when he was just 14 years old, teaching himself how to perform silicone implants.
Despite his lack of medical qualifications, he managed to attract a clientele seeking solutions for their insecurities regarding their genitalia.
The case came to light when a dissatisfied patient developed a severe infection after undergoing one of Songsri’s procedures. Frustrated by the lack of professional care, the patient reported him to the authorities, leading to the investigation and subsequent arrest.
During questioning, Songsri disclosed that he charged between 5,000 baht (approximately R2,582) and 20,000 baht (around R10,328) for each surgery.
He faces serious charges, including operating an illegal medical clinic and providing medical services without a license, both of which pose significant risks to patient health and safety.
