Two Young Boys Drown While Their Mother Washes Clothes at Binyala Dam

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) reports a heartbreaking incident that occurred on December 8, 2025, where two young boys, aged three and five, drowned while their mother was washing clothes at Binyala Dam in Sibantubantu Village, Filabusi.

The children went missing during this time, prompting villagers to organize a search.

Their bodies were discovered submerged in the dam the next day, December 9, 2025.

The Police Sub-Aqua Unit has since recovered the bodies, which have been sent to Filabusi Hospital for post-mortem examination.
