Two Killed as Kombi Overturns Along Mutare–Masvingo Road – The Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed a fatal road traffic accident that occurred at Rimiti area near Wengezi, along the Mutare–Masvingo Road, on the morning of January 1, 2026.

According to police, two people lost their lives when a Nissan Caravan kombi overturned after one of its tyres burst.

“The number of injured victims is yet to be established,” ZRP said, adding that more details will be released in due course.
