Three Relatives Bedridden and Paralyzed – A Family’s Desperate Plea for Aid

MAZOWE – A family in Ward 14, Mazowe District is struggling to cope with a severe medical crisis, as three relatives remain bedridden and paralyzed, unable to afford life-saving treatment.

Letwin Mafirakupa, a diabetic mother, is suffering from a deep wound requiring urgent medical attention, but financial constraints have left her without the necessary care.

Munyadzi Mafirakupa, who was involved in a road accident, remains paralyzed and nursing a severe wound, despite receiving initial treatment.

Meanwhile, Ashboard Mafirakupa, injured in artisanal mining, was discharged from the hospital after the family failed to raise US$1,700 for his surgical operation.

They currently owe US$533 in medical fees at Parirenyatwa Hospital.

Their sister, who has taken on the responsibility of caring for all three, is desperately seeking financial assistance to purchase food, diapers and cover medical expenses.
