TERRIFYING INTRUSION: Man Breaks into Neighbour’s Home, Molests Woman, Urinates in Fear

SINGAPORE – Erakkodan Abinraj, a 26-year-old Indian national, was sentenced to seven months in jail on Wednesday for molesting his 36-year-old neighbor in her condominium unit.
Abinraj pleaded guilty to one count of molestation, with an additional count of housebreaking taken into consideration during sentencing.
According to court documents, Abinraj climbed into his neighbour’s condominium unit through the balcony around midnight in September last year. Once inside, he entered the master bedroom where the victim was asleep with her husband and their daughter was sleeping in another room.
Abinraj molested the victim while she was asleep, touching her underwear. The victim woke up to find Abinraj beside her and initially thought he was her husband, but upon realizing her mistake, she turned on her phone’s torchlight and screamed, waking her husband.
The husband confronted Abinraj, who urinated in fear and begged him not to call the police.
Despite his pleas, the victim reported the incident to the authorities and the accused person was arrested.
He admitted to trespassing when questioned by the police.
The court’s decision to sentence Abinraj to seven months in jail reflects the severity of his actions and the need to protect the community from such
behaviour.
