VIDEO:Teenage rapper accidentally shot himself in the head while filming a video.

Rylo Huncho, a 17-year-old rapper, tragically died after accidentally shooting himself in the head during a TikToklivestream. The incident occurred at his home in Suffolk, Virginia on May 15. Police confirmed that he was killed by an “accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound” to the head.

In the video, Rylo was seen singing into a camera while dancing around his room with a pistol. He then appeared to switch off the gun’s safety and aimed it at his head, resulting in a fatal shot. The teenager had a small following on Spotify and often posted footage of himself rapping.

A fundraiser was set up for Rylo’s grieving mother, who was a single parent and lost her only son.

Huncho’s followers and friends have been paying tribute to the rapper, who had 27,000 followers in Instagram and 680 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Kara Dorsey, who claimed to be a teacher at Huncho’s school, described how the ‘school family’ had ‘experienced a loss’.

“While I didn’t have the opportunity to meet this young man, I did meet his older cousin and a close friend today,” she continued. “I met them as they spent their lunch quietly walking the halls and asking staff members to share a gofumdme [sic] to help the young man’s mother lay her only child to rest.”

The GoFundMe has so far raised more than $2,800 dollars, with a goal of $15,000.

It’s a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers associated with handling firearms irresponsibly, especially in online content creation. 😢
