South Africa-based Zimbabwean arrested for throwing baby from moving vehicle – South African authorities arrested a Zimbabwean woman yesterday for allegedly throwing a baby from a moving vehicle on the R101 road in Pretoria.
The incident was confirmed by X (formerly Twitter) user @nasiphim.
Reports indicate that the woman, believed to be the child’s mother, has been taken into custody. However, details about the baby’s condition remain undisclosed.

Meanwhile, in France, a young American woman was arrested after allegedly throwing her newborn out of a second-floor hotel window in Paris.
The Paris prosecutor stated that the incident occurred on Monday morning.
Emergency responders rushed the baby to the hospital, but the infant was pronounced d€ad.
The woman, who was traveling through Europe with a Massachusetts-based organization called EF Gap Year, has been placed in custody at a hospital, where she is receiving medical treatment following childbirth.
EF spokesperson Adam Bickelman expressed sh0ck and sadness over the incident, confirming that the organization is cooperating with authorities and providing counseling support to affected group members.
Parisian child protection police are investigating the case as the hom!c!de of a minor under 15 years old.
Authorities are also considering the possibility of pregnancy denial, a condition in which a woman remains unaware of or in denial about her pregnancy until labor.
