Singleness is Not a Curse Says Apostle Daniels

Apostle Daniels has said there is no shame in being single, urging women to stop rushing into marriage and warning that desperation is driving many into destructive choices.
Speaking at the launch of Dr Tatenda Matirongo’s book The Waiting Wife, Apostle Daniels said too many women are hurting themselves by trying to force love.
“Women aspiring for marriage often feel pressured to showcase their bodies and appear desperate,” he said.
“Some are spending too much money trying to look attractive, bathing several times a day, thinking a man will come because of that.”

He said the pressure has pushed some women into extreme behaviour.
“Posting yourself naked on social media will haunt you. Marriage does not delete the internet,” he warned.
“While fasting and prayer are essential, a woman’s character is her most important asset.
“Marriage is a choice not an obligation. Love is a natural force not something you can buy or wear.”
He also cautioned that financially successful women often intimidate potential partners.
“Many empowered women find themselves single and alone.
“Some end up settling for older or widowed men. There is no shame in being single because some marriages lead to quick divorces,” he said.
“It is better to be with someone you truly love even if they lack wealth. Wealth can come later. Wealth cannot define true love and a happy marriage.”
On her part, Evangelist Nelly Gwatidzo reinforced the message saying:
“Women must protect themselves from exploitation,” she said.
“Don’t cheapen yourself. Add value to your life and avoid immorality. Believe in your uniqueness, you are worthy of love as you are.”
She added that bad decisions are often made under the influence.
“While some are engaging in illicit drugs others are writing books.
“As you wait understand life’s dynamics. First love yourself before seeking love from others.”
Evangelist Gwatidzo also encouraged women to prepare themselves emotionally and spiritually.
“Develop a positive attitude. Build healthy habits. Be honest before marriage,” she said.
