Shurugwi man caught ‘marinating’ neighbor’s calf – A quiet Shurugwi village was left in shock after a 67-year-old man was caught in the act of besti@lity with a neighbor’s calf.
Twoboy Shamhu, who admitted to the offense in court, blamed his actions on being s£xually deprived and influenced by evil spirits as reported by Masvingo Mirror.
The incident unfolded last Friday when Craig Mudzingwa, a local resident, was returning home from the shopping center around 11 PM.
As he passed by Marihoho homestead, he heard unusual noises coming from the cattle pen. Sensing something was amiss, he decided to investigate and was h0rrified to find Shamhu in the act with the calf, which had been tied to a log.
Mudzingwa immediately alerted the authorities, leading to Shamhu’s arrest.

He was charged with b€stiality and appeared before Magistrate Sithabile Zungula, where he pleaded guilty.
In his defense, Shamhu claimed that his late wife’s passing and his girlfriend’s neglect had left him desperate.
He also stated that he lacked the financial means to hire a s£x worker.
Magistrate Zungula sentenced him to six months in jail, suspending two months on condition of good behavior.
The remaining four months were converted to community service.
