Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs To Be Sentenced Today
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs To Be Sentenced Today – Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will be sentenced on Friday, with federal prosecutors pushing for a minimum of 11 years and three months in prison.
The 55-year-old was convicted on charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, though he was acquitted of more serious counts of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy during an eight-week trial.
While prosecutors demand a lengthy sentence, Combs’ attorneys have asked Judge Arun Subramanian to impose no more than 14 months, arguing that the artist has already spent over a year in custody since his September 2024 arrest.

Legal analyst Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor, told PEOPLE that a mid-range sentence is more likely:
“I don’t think he’s getting the 11 years that the government is recommending. That is more than the statutory max for the prostitution counts. I think five years ends up being in the middle.”
Rahmani noted that the judge may also weigh other evidence from trial, saying:
“We’re talking about the drugs. We’re talking about the violence. Even though he was acquitted of running a criminal enterprise and forcing these women to have sex through coercion, a lot of bad evidence came out.”
