Scottland FC Signs $1.5 Million Deal with Durban City

Scottland FC has announced a new partnership with Durban City, a major soccer club in South Africa.

This five-year agreement is valued at an initial $1.5 million.

In a social media post, Scottland FC, the champions of Zimbabwe, described the collaboration as a way to strengthen regional soccer ties between South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The partnership will focus on player development, tournaments, and business growth, aiming to cultivate top talent and share coaching knowledge.

“Zimbabwe champions Scottland FC and South African Premier Soccer League side, Durban City have entered into a partnership worth an initial US$1.5million.

“The collaboration is a regional football bridge between South Africa and Zimbabwe covering player development, tournaments and commercial growth.

“The shared goal is to develop world class talent and exchange technical expertise.”

At the signing ceremony, Scottland’s director, Tonderai Sakupwanya, highlighted Durban City’s 22 years of experience in soccer, expressing excitement about the benefits this partnership will bring.

“Here at Scottland, we stand to benefit from such experience in this partnership.”

This partnership marks a significant step for both clubs in their efforts to enhance soccer in the region.
