Ras Pompy Slams Claims of Affair with Mom’s Friend
Zimdancehall artist Nyasha Reginald ‘Ras Pompy’ Mano denied rumors of dating a 36-year-old woman who’s friend’s mother.
The claims came from Wesley Eroyi Shoniwa, who’s facing attempted murder charges. Wesley, in court, said Ras Pompy was involved with his mother.
Ras Pompy shot down the claims through his lawyer Dumisani Mthombeni, stating he doesn’t even know Wesley. “Ras Pompy is 23 and doesn’t associate with people like Wesley,” the lawyer said. He added that the woman works with Ras Pompy’s mother, and Ras Pompy sees her as a mother figure.
Ras Pompy blasted the media for running the story without checking the facts. “He’s been bombarded with calls and insults,” his lawyer said. “The false story cost him an endorsement deal and hurt his relationships with his wife, family, and business associates.”
Ras Pompy questioned Wesley’s mental health, suggesting he needs help due to possible substance abuse. Despite the drama, Ras Pompy stays focused on his music and farming projects. He warned the publication to correct the false story, saying his reputation and brand took a serious hit.
