Raphinha Shines as Barcelona Crushes Dortmund 4-0, Ties Messi’s Record!

Barcelona won 4-0 against Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League quarter-final match, with Raphinha tying Lionel Messi’s club record for goal involvements in a single season.
The Brazilian forward scored one goal and made two assists, bringing his total to 19 goal involvements this season, the same as Messi had in 2011-12.
Raphinha scored his 12th European goal to give Barcelona a first-half lead. Robert Lewandowski scored twice in the second half, and Lamine Yamal added another goal, putting Barcelona in a strong position for the semi-finals.
Barcelona started quickly, almost scoring three times in the first seven minutes, with Yamal and Lewandowski forcing Dortmund’s goalkeeper, Gregor Kobel, to make important saves.
The first goal came in the 25th minute from a free-kick after Karim Adeyemi pulled Jules Kounde’s hair.
Fermin Lopez’s kick found Inigo Martinez, who headed it across the goal. Pau Cubarsi poked it into the corner, with Raphinha finishing it off just in time.
Dortmund started to play better as the first half went on, with Adeyemi and Serhou Guirassy getting close to scoring. But Lewandowski doubled Barcelona’s lead just three minutes into the second half by scoring from Raphinha’s header.
As Dortmund made mistakes, Barcelona created more chances. Fermin hit the post and missed a rebound soon after. Lewandowski sealed the win with his 99th goal for the club, scoring on a fast break in the 66th minute as reported by BBC.
Raphinha helped Yamal score the final goal in the 77th minute after another quick attack. Barcelona will play the second leg in Germany on Tuesday, April 15.
