Radio Host Shugeta Speaks Out Against Social Media Trolls Targeting His Family
In a bold move, popular radio host Shugeta has confronted the vicious social media trolls targeting his loved ones, calling for an end to the relentless harassment.
Shugeta’s emotional Facebook post exposed the devastating impact of online abuse on his family, particularly his partner, Butterphly, and their young son, Benoit.
“I have had enough of watching my loved ones become targets of online hate. As someone who has been in the public eye, I have learned to develop a thick skin, but it is heartbreaking to see my family suffer at the hands of faceless trolls,” said Shugeta.
As he shared his personal story, Shugeta also addressed rumors surrounding his past relationship with Anna Honde, confirming their split in 2020.
“For the record, I ended my relationship with Anna Honde in 2020, and I have since found happiness with Butterphly, the mother of my beautiful son, Benoit,” Shugeta explained.
He then met Butterphly in 2022, and the couple welcomed Benoit in 2023.
Shugeta shared his joy and struggles as a new father, saying, “We welcomed him into the world in 2023, and it has been an incredible journey. However, despite our joy, we have been subjected to relentless harassment and bullying online.”
Shugeta emphasized that he is not asking for sympathy or special treatment but rather kindness, empathy and respect. “It is time for me to speak out and defend my family. We deserve to live our lives without fear of being attacked or scrutinized by strangers.”
