PSG Moves Closer to Unbeaten Ligue 1 Season as Marseille Reclaims Second Place

Paris Saint-Germain extended its unbeaten run in Ligue 1 after a 2-1 victory over Le Havre on Saturday at Parc des Princes, edging closer to completing the season without a single loss.
Despite resting key players, including top scorer Ousmane Dembélé, PSG secured the win with a deflected strike from Désiré Doué and a second-half tap-in by Gonçalo Ramos, set up by teenager Senny Mayulu.
Bradley Barcola, who assisted the opening goal, now leads Ligue 1 in assists with 10 this season.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Marseille strengthened its grip on second place with a dominant 5-1 win over Montpellier at Stade Vélodrome, overtaking Monaco by one point.
Mason Greenwood starred, scoring twice to bring his season tally to 18 goals, trailing only Dembélé.
According to The Zimbabwe Mail, PSG has already clinched the league title and is on track for a historic treble, with upcoming matches in the Champions League semifinal against Arsenal on April 29 and the French Cup final against Reims on May 24.
Elsewhere, Monaco and Strasbourg played to a tense 0-0 draw at Stade Louis II, with United States forward Folarin Balogun nearly scoring before his header was saved late on.
Tension arose between Monaco and Strasbourg coaches, as Strasbourg’s Liam Rosenior claimed Monaco’s Adi Hütter delayed shaking his hand, which Hütter denied.
With only four games remaining, PSG looks unstoppable, while Marseille remains in the fight for automatic Champions League qualification.
Meanwhile, Montpellier is on the brink of relegation, having suffered 11 consecutive losses, making survival in Ligue 1 highly unlikely.
