Due to his detention, Prophet Magaya missed Sunday’s church service. However, congregants proceeded with preparations for the Night of Turnaround event scheduled for this coming Saturday.

Despite the tense atmosphere, many church members expressed unwavering faith in their leader. One of Magaya’s overseers, Timothy Marasha, delivered a sermon drawn from Luke 4:1, which reads: “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.”

Marasha likened the Prophet’s ordeal to the biblical story of Jesus’ time in the wilderness, telling the congregation that “tests often precede great breakthroughs.”

According to H Metro, Magaya appeared calm at the police holding cells but offered only a short remark: “This is where I am; that is all I can say.”

Authorities confirmed that only Magaya’s wife, mother, and lawyer were allowed to visit him.
